THE Citizens Coalition for Change will not benefit from the over $1 billion payable to political parties.
A total of $1 408 392 000 will be paid to deserving parties beginning tomorrow.
In a recently gazetted notice, Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi said Zanu PF and Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) will benefit in terms of the Political Parties (Finance) Act.
Zanu PF will receive $985 874 400 while MDC is going to receive $422 517 600.
Meanwhile, throughout the year, CCC has been fundraising for its 2023 election campaign and to “defend” the people’s vote.
