Luton Town have been linked with a move for Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba after his successful spell at the club.
It resulted in the first ever promotion to the English Premier League side after their playoff win.
Now they want to bring him back permanently.
They will have to fight off EFL Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
Nakamba will leave Aston Villa during this window after head coach Unai Emery decided he will not reintegrate him into his squad.
The 29-year-old garnered a lot of praise from Luton Town fans as well as coach Rob Edwards for his transformative effect on the side.
