Maskiri inspires new afro-pop voice

AN EMERGING Chitungwiza artiste Learnmore Nyakapanga says he was inspired by rap maestro Maskiri to venture into the music industry.

Nyakapanga aka MaSystem is a new afro pop he was inspired by rap music voice to reckon as his latest offering “Ndakusuwa, a love song that features Pixe speaks that.

Ndakusuwa talks about a fiance who is missing a partner, who is away in diaspora working.

“I was inspired by Maskiri, I like the way he rhymes and his creativity. I hope to have an opportunity to do a collaboration with him one day,”

MaSystem who doubles as a comedian has also revealed plans to work with Stunner and Ti Gonzi.

He is currently working on his debut album, set to be released at the end of this year.

“I am working on my first album titled Chirikufara. If everything goes according to plan, I am going to release it in October,” said MaSystem.

“The album will comprise singles that I have released before, new songs and collaborations with some of the renowned names in the industry.”

The artiste recorded his first track in 2019.

His other tracks Muudzimu Ndiringe that features Natasha Muzi, Mwari Wenyasha, Ndozvoita Mwari and Ndiwe Wandarota.

His songs have been receiving fair amount of airplay on various commercial radio stations.
